Talk to a strangerwho's also into the same things as you
18+ only. You're in charge of what you share, so use the same common sense you would with any stranger.
Free text and video chat with strangers across India. No names, no profile, and the chat disappears when you leave.
Made for moments like these
- It's 2am, the hostel is asleep, and you're wide awake.
- Nobody in the family group cares about your fantasy cricket team.
- The last over just ended and you need to yell about it with someone.
- You moved to Bengaluru and want to practise your Kannada.
- Traffic, rain, no plans. You're bored, and that's allowed.
Somewhere else in India, a stranger is thinking the exact same thing. chatrealm.live is random chat with people who are into what you're into, so you skip the small talk and go straight to the good part.
Random chat, except you pick the topic
We find someone who picked the same thing as you. The more you have in common, the better the match.
You both like cricket
No names, no profiles, no followers. Just two people who like the same stuff, so there's always something to say.
Stranger: ok settle this. is chasing 180 at the Chinnaswamy easy or am I just scared of that pitch
You: easy till the 17th over
Stranger: rude. fair, but rude
Not feeling it? Hit Next. New person, zero awkward goodbyes, and never the same one twice in a row.
You pressed Next. Looking for someone new.
When you leave, the chat is gone, for both of you. We never saved it anyway.
Stranger left. This chat is gone.
Anonymous means anonymous
We never ask for
- Your name
- Your email or number, unless you decide to sign in
- A photo, a bio, any of that
We never see or keep
- What you say
- Your video or your voice
- A profile of you
What we do keep
- Your interests, so you don't have to type them again.
- Your email, only if you choose to sign in.
- A safety log of who was matched and when, with no chat in it. It's deleted after 180 days.
- If someone reports you, what they saw in that chat reaches us so we can act.
One heads-up
Your chats go straight between you and the other person, text and video both. That keeps it quick, and it means we can't see any of it. The catch: like most calls online, the other person's device could work out roughly which city you're in. It can't tell them who you are.
Pick a topic, any topic
Chat with strangers across India about whatever you're into. Tap one and you're in.
Good questions
Is chatrealm.live free?
Yes. Text and video chat are both free. Text needs no sign-up. Video asks for a quick sign-in with your email.
Is chatrealm.live really anonymous?
Yep. No real name and no profile. Text chat needs no sign-up, and we can't see your chats. The other person sees a made-up name and face, plus whatever you choose to tell them.
Do I need an account to chat with strangers?
Nope. Type an interest, or don't, and start. Sign in only if you want your interests remembered next time.
What if nobody shares my interests?
We look for a match first. If nobody shows up after a short wait, we pair you with whoever is around, so you're never stuck waiting.
Who can use chatrealm.live?
Adults only. You need to be 18 or older. You're talking to real strangers, so you're responsible for what you say and share, the same as anywhere online.
What if the chat gets weird?
Hit Next or leave. One tap, no explanation needed, and you won't be matched with that person again right after.
Is anything recorded?
Not by us. Your messages and video go straight to the other person and we never see them. Two honest catches: they could screenshot their own screen, and if they report you, the recent messages and one picture from that chat are sent to us. Share like you would with any stranger.
Is chatrealm.live like Omegle?
Same spirit: random text and video chat with strangers. The difference is that you start with something in common, so the first message isn't hi followed by silence.
Somebody out there is into it too
It's free, with nothing to set up. Say hi, and if it's not your vibe, the next person is one tap away.
18+ only. You're in charge of what you share, so use the same common sense you would with any stranger.
